Evangelia — Nibiru

14–17 August 2026, Costinești — one of the Romanian Black Sea coast’s most recognisable landmarks became the surface for a large-scale outdoor projection-mapping installation at Nibiru. The Evangelia, a cargo ship grounded off Costinești since 1968 and now heavily fragmented after decades at sea, presented an unusually complex canvas for projected imagery. Its corroded hull, broken superstructure, gaps and irregular silhouette became part of the visual composition, transforming the familiar wreck after dark. 3DLP supplied the video projectors used for the installation, which took place during Nibiru’s first summer season in Costinești.
