The Barber of Seville — Opera Națională București

3DLP supplied the stage-projection system for the 2016 production of Rossini’s The Barber of Seville at Opera Națională București, premiered on 10 November. Directed and designed by Matteo Mazzoni, the production used video creations by Fabio Massimo Iaquone and Luca Attilii to animate a two-storey scenic structure with architectural linework, vivid blue interiors and large abstract collage. Projection shifted the set rapidly between exterior, domestic and graphic worlds while the action moved across several levels.
